Table A and B Providers are required to submit four submissions to DEEWR each year (TACs are required to submit five times each year).
The following tables show the dates for the 2010 collection.. The Australasian Conference of Tertiary Admission Centres (ACTAC) determines the reference dates for Applications and Offers data. The dates in the tables below are current and supersede any others previously advised.

Table A and B Higher Education providers are required to provide data to DEEWR containing details on an applicant’s demographics and application details, including an applicant’s preferences and offers made in response to an application. The collection comprises records for all applications made for admission to a higher education undergraduate award course submitted through a Tertiary Admissions Centre (TAC) or directly to a HEP. HEPs need only submit data in respect to applications made directly to their institution. Where a HEP has an authorised application made through a TAC, the data should be submitted by that TAC.
This data will need to be provided to DEEWR as set out in the timing matrix released each year and in accordance with the scope and structure documents for each data submission.
Under Subsection 19-70(1) of the Higher Education Support Act 2003, Higher Education Providers are required to provide statistical data to the Minister and the allocation of Commonwealth Higher Education Student Support Numbers (CHESSN) to all Commonwealth assisted students.
The Ministerial Notice issued on 30 November 2009 sets out the requirements for the Higher Education Data Collection for 2010 Reporting Year.

Providers must check for any changes which may, from time to time, be made to the requirements for the data. All changes to the requirements for the data for the Higher Education Data Collection will be noted in the 2011 Higher Education Data Requirements and Change Control document. A summary of the changes will also be included in the HEIMS Data Collections Newsletters.
